Method
 

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Cream butter and powdered sugar until light and fluffy, then mix in eggs and milk until incorporated. Gradually blend in flour, salt, and extracts to form a soft dough.
  2. Divide dough into three portions. Tint one portion with purple gel food coloring, leaving the other two as plain and black.
  3. Roll plain and black dough into rectangles, layer black on top of plain, and press gently.
  4. Roll out purple dough, sprinkle with purple sprinkles, and roll tightly into a log.
  5. Position purple log at one end and roll everything together to form a large log with a vibrant spiral.
  6. Wrap log in plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 1 hour to firm up, then coat with sprinkles.
  7. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C), slice log into rounds, place on a baking sheet, top with sprinkles, and bake for about 10-12 minutes.
  8. Cool cookies on a wire rack after baking to maintain melt-in-your-mouth texture.
