  • 8 ounces Cream Cheese Consider using mint-flavored cream cheese for an extra minty kick.
  • 2 cups Chocolate (Milk/Dark) Feel free to mix or substitute with your preferred chocolate.
  • 1 teaspoon Peppermint Extract Optional, enhances mint flavor.
For Toppings
  • 1/2 cup Crushed Oreos Sprinkle on top for a delightful finish.
  • 1/4 cup Chocolate Drizzle Melted chocolate for a fancy presentation.
  • 1 teaspoon Edible Gold Dust Optional for special occasions.

Equipment

  • Food Processor
  • Mixing Bowl
  • Rolling Pin
  • Baking Sheet
  • Microwave-safe bowl

Method

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Finely crush the mint Oreos in a food processor or by using a rolling pin until you achieve fine crumbs. Combine these crumbs with softened cream cheese until smooth.
  2. Roll portions of the mixture into bite-sized balls, approximately one inch in diameter. Place on a lined baking sheet, spaced apart.
  3. Refrigerate the truffle balls for at least 30 minutes to firm up.
  4. Melt the chocolate in a microwave-safe bowl in 30-second intervals, stirring until smooth. Dip each truffle in melted chocolate and allow excess to drip off.
  5. Allow the chocolate-covered truffles to set at room temperature or refrigerate for about 15 minutes. Add crushed Oreos or drizzle extra chocolate before serving.
