  • 28 oz Crushed Tomatoes Opt for fire-roasted for flavor
  • 4 cups Chicken Broth Substitute with vegetable broth for vegetarian
  • 2 cups Water Adjust based on desired thickness
  • 2 tbsp Tomato Paste Double for richer flavor
For the Noodles & Extras
  • 8 oz Lasagna Noodles Can be replaced with gluten-free pasta
  • 1 cup Frozen Chopped Spinach Fresh spinach can be used
  • 1 cup Heavy Cream Omit for a lighter option
For the Toppings
  • 1 cup Ricotta Cheese Or cottage cheese
  • 1 cup Mozzarella Cheese Feel free to use provolone
  • 1/4 cup Parmesan Cheese Optional garnish

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. In a large pot over medium-high heat, brown the ground beef for 6-8 minutes, draining excess grease.
  2. Add minced garlic and diced onion, stirring in garlic powder, onion powder, dried basil, oregano, salt, and pepper. Sauté for 5 minutes.
  3. Stir in crushed tomatoes, chicken broth, water, and tomato paste. Break lasagna noodles into smaller pieces and add.
  4. Bring to a gentle boil, then reduce heat to a simmer. Cover and cook for about 10 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  5. Add spinach and cream, stir, and cook uncovered for an additional 5 minutes.
  6. Ladle into bowls, adding mozzarella cheese at the bottom to melt, then top with ricotta and parmesan.
