  • 1 Juice of Lime Fresh lime juice is best.

  • 1/4 cup Granulated Sugar Adjust to taste; can substitute with honey or agave syrup.
To Serve
  • Ice Cubes Essential for serving chilled.
  • Fresh Mint Leaves Optional for garnish.

Method
 

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. In a blender, combine 2 cups of chopped ripe pineapple and 2 cups of hulled and sliced strawberries with 2 cups of cold water. Blend until smooth, about 30–40 seconds.
  2. Grab a fine mesh sieve over a large pitcher and pour the blended mixture into the sieve. Press down on the pulp to extract juice. Discard remaining pulp.
  3. Add 2 cups of cold water, 1/4 cup of granulated sugar, and the juice of 1 lime to the pitcher. Stir until the sugar completely dissolves.
  4. Taste your agua fresca and adjust sweetness by adding more sugar if desired.
  5. Chill in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes to enhance flavor.
  6. Serve over ice cubes and garnish with fresh mint leaves.
