For Cooking

  • 1 tablespoon Extra Virgin Olive Oil Base oil for frying; can substitute with vegetable oil.
For the Sauce
  • ¼ cup Soy Sauce Reduced-sodium; use tamari for gluten-free.

Method
 

Step‑by‑Step Instructions
  1. Prepare the Sauce: In a small bowl, whisk together cold water and cornstarch until smooth. Mix in soy sauce, rice wine vinegar, sugar or honey, and ginger. Set aside.
  2. Prep the Vegetables: Slice the carrots, mushrooms, and broccoli. Cut the green beans into thirds and finely dice the onion.
  3. Cook the Potstickers: Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat, add olive oil and sesame oil. Add frozen potstickers and fry for 3–4 minutes until golden brown. Add water, cover, steam for 3–4 minutes until cooked through. Set aside.
  4. Cook the Vegetables: Sauté mushrooms and onions for 3–4 minutes until browned. Transfer to a bowl. Repeat with broccoli, cooking until vibrant. Sauté green beans and carrots until bright and crisp.
  5. Combine & Serve: Return potstickers to the skillet with vegetables. Pour sauce over and stir to coat. Cook for 2–3 minutes until sauce thickens. Garnish with sesame seeds and green onions before serving.
