Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and prepare your baking dishes with non-stick spray.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the white cake mix, plain Greek yogurt, and water. Mix until smooth.
- Divide the batter into three bowls. Color one with red food coloring, one with blue, and leave the last uncolored.
- Pour each batter into prepared baking dishes and bake for 12-15 minutes until a toothpick comes out clean.
- Once cooled, crumble the cakes into fine crumbs.
- Roll 1-2 tablespoons of cake crumb mixture into balls, and insert a cake pop straw halfway into each.
- Chill the cake pops in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour.
- Melt white candy melts with shortening in a microwave-safe bowl, stirring until smooth.
- Dip each cake pop into the melted coating, tap off excess, and add sprinkles.
- Chill decorated cake pops in the refrigerator for 30 minutes until set.
- Serve and enjoy your festive cake pops!
