- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Gather your mixing bowls and cake mix.
- Combine the white cake mix with plain Greek yogurt and water. Stir until well blended, then divide into three bowls, dyeing one red, one blue, and leaving the third white.
- Pour the colored batter into greased baking dishes and bake for 12-15 minutes. Cool completely on a wire rack.
- Crumble each cooled cake layer into fine crumbs in a large mixing bowl.
- Roll 1-2 tablespoons of cake mixture into balls, inserting a stick into each. Chill in the refrigerator for 1 hour.
- Melt the white candy melts and vegetable shortening in a microwave-safe bowl until smooth.
- Dip each chilled cake ball into the melted coating, then add sprinkles while the coating is still wet.
- Chill the decorated cake pops in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes to set the coating.
