Preparation Steps
- Preheat your oven to 180°C (350°F) and line a baking tray with parchment paper.
- Roll out your ready-made puff pastry on a lightly floured surface and cut into 1 cm wide strips.
- Wrap each sausage securely with the pastry strips, leaving gaps for eyes. Trim any extra pastry and press to seal.
- Place the wrapped sausages on the baking tray and bake for about 20 minutes until golden brown.
- Increase the oven temperature to 220°C (420°F) and bake for an additional 5 minutes for a crispy texture.
- After baking, allow to cool slightly and use honey to adhere edible eyes to each mummy.
