Ingredients
  

For the Mummies
  • 8 pieces Sausages Choose your favorite regular pork sausages.
  • 1 sheet Puff Pastry Ready-rolled puff pastry.
  • 1 pack Edible Eyes Fun decorations found in supermarkets or online.
For Adhesion
  • 1 tablespoon Honey Optional, can be substituted with melted chocolate.

Method
 

Preparation Steps
  1. Preheat your oven to 180°C (350°F) and line a baking tray with parchment paper.
  2. Roll out your ready-made puff pastry on a lightly floured surface and cut into 1 cm wide strips.
  3. Wrap each sausage securely with the pastry strips, leaving gaps for eyes. Trim any extra pastry and press to seal.
  4. Place the wrapped sausages on the baking tray and bake for about 20 minutes until golden brown.
  5. Increase the oven temperature to 220°C (420°F) and bake for an additional 5 minutes for a crispy texture.
  6. After baking, allow to cool slightly and use honey to adhere edible eyes to each mummy.
