- In a medium bowl, whisk together freshly squeezed orange juice, lime juice, and soy sauce until well combined. Add minced garlic, chili powder, cumin, smoked paprika, black pepper, salt, and oregano, blending the spices into a fragrant mixture.
- Place the flank or skirt steak in the slow cooker and pour the prepared marinade over it, ensuring the meat is evenly coated.
- Cover the slow cooker and set it to cook on low for 6-8 hours or on high for 3-4 hours, until the steak is fork-tender.
- Once cooked, carefully remove the steak from the crockpot and let it rest on a cutting board for about 5 minutes.
