Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Wash and peel the red new potatoes. Cut into one-inch pieces and set aside.
  2. In a small bowl, whisk together soy sauce, sugar, sesame oil, and water until the sugar dissolves.
  3. Heat a pan over medium heat and add neutral oil. Add the potato pieces and cook for 5-6 minutes until lightly golden.
  4. Pour the sauce mixture over the potatoes, cover, and cook for an additional 5-7 minutes.
  5. Remove the lid and stir the potatoes. Allow the glaze to thicken, adding water if necessary.
  6. Once the potatoes are tender and glazed, transfer to a serving dish and sprinkle with toasted sesame seeds.
