  2. Gently fold in blueberries, ensuring they do not get crushed. Prepare mixture for shaping.
  3. Form the mixture into 8 evenly sized patties, about 1/3 inch thick. Arrange patties on a parchment-lined plate.
  4. In a nonstick skillet, heat oil over medium heat until it shimmers. The skillet should be hot enough to sizzle the patties.
  5. Cook patties for about 5 minutes on one side until golden brown. Flip and cook the other side for 4-5 minutes, reaching an internal temperature of 165°F.
