Ingredients
  

For the Noodles
  • 8 ounces Lo Mein or Chow Mein Noodles Spaghetti can be a substitute if unavailable.
For the Protein
  • 1 pound Steak Tender cuts like sirloin or flank.
  • 1 pound Shrimp Large, deveined shrimp, thawed if frozen.
For the Vegetables
  • 1 cup Bell Peppers Add colorful variety.
  • 1 cup Broccoli Florets Snap peas or bok choy can be alternatives.
  • 1 cup Carrots Shredded or thinly sliced.
For the Sauce
  • 3 tablespoons Soy Sauce Low-sodium can be used.
  • 1 tablespoon Sesame Oil Vegetable or olive oil can be a substitute.
  • 3 cloves Garlic Freshly minced.
  • 1 inch Ginger Fresh and grated.
Optional Garnishes
  • 2 tablespoons Green Onions Chopped.
  • 1 tablespoon Sesame Seeds Toasted.

Method
 

Preparation Steps
  1. Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Cook noodles according to package instructions (4-6 minutes), then drain and rinse with cold water.
  2. In a bowl, marinate steak and shrimp with soy sauce, sesame oil, garlic, and ginger for 10 minutes.
  3. Heat sesame oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Sauté bell peppers, broccoli, and carrots for 3-4 minutes.
  4. Push vegetables aside and add steak to the skillet. Cook for 2-3 minutes until browned.
  5. Stir in shrimp and cook for an additional 2-3 minutes until shrimp is pink.
  6. Add cooked noodles along with a splash of soy sauce and sesame oil. Toss everything together for 2-3 minutes.
  7. Remove from heat, serve garnished with green onions and sesame seeds.
