  1. In a medium skillet, melt 2 tablespoons of butter and 1 tablespoon of olive oil over medium heat.
  2. Add 3 minced garlic cloves and 1 small finely chopped shallot to the skillet. Sauté for 2-3 minutes until the shallot is translucent.
