Method
 

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a loaf pan.
  2. Mash 3-4 ripe bananas until mostly smooth with small lumps.
  3. Cream together 1/2 cup of butter, 1/2 cup of granulated sugar, and 1/2 cup of brown sugar.
  4. Add 2 large eggs one at a time, mixing well after each. Stir in mashed bananas.
  5. Sift together 2 cups of flour, 1 teaspoon of baking powder, 1 teaspoon of cinnamon, and 1/2 teaspoon of salt.
  6. Fold the dry mixture into the wet mixture until no dry flour is visible.
  7. Pour half of the batter into the greased loaf pan and sprinkle half of the cinnamon-sugar on top.
  8. Add the remaining batter and top with the remaining cinnamon-sugar mixture.
  9. Bake for 50-60 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  10. Let the bread cool in the pan for 10 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
