- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a loaf pan.
- Mash 3-4 ripe bananas until mostly smooth with small lumps.
- Cream together 1/2 cup of butter, 1/2 cup of granulated sugar, and 1/2 cup of brown sugar.
- Add 2 large eggs one at a time, mixing well after each. Stir in mashed bananas.
- Sift together 2 cups of flour, 1 teaspoon of baking powder, 1 teaspoon of cinnamon, and 1/2 teaspoon of salt.
- Fold the dry mixture into the wet mixture until no dry flour is visible.
- Pour half of the batter into the greased loaf pan and sprinkle half of the cinnamon-sugar on top.
- Add the remaining batter and top with the remaining cinnamon-sugar mixture.
- Bake for 50-60 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
- Let the bread cool in the pan for 10 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
