Step‑by‑Step Instructions
  1. In a large mixing bowl, combine the strawberry cake mix, melted butter, and egg. Stir until smooth, about 2-3 minutes.
  2. Add softened cream cheese and blend until fully incorporated, about 2-3 minutes.
  3. Cover and refrigerate the dough for at least 1 hour.
  4. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line baking sheets with parchment paper.
  5. Scoop tablespoon-sized portions of dough and roll them into balls.
  6. If desired, roll dough balls in powdered or pink granulated sugar before placing on baking sheets.
  7. Bake for 8-10 minutes, until edges are set but centers are still soft.
