- In a medium bowl, combine coconut flour, tapioca starch, salt, and garlic powder, mixing well.
- Dredge round steak in the flour mixture, ensuring it's coated on all sides.
- In a skillet over medium heat, add olive oil and brown the coated steaks on each side for 1-2 minutes.
- Arrange browned steaks in the slow cooker and top with diced white onion.
- Blend beef stock and chopped white mushrooms until smooth, then pour over the steaks and sprinkle with pepper.
- Cover the slow cooker and cook on high for 5-6 hours or on low for 7-9 hours.
- About 30 minutes before serving, scoop out the cream from coconut milk and mix with tapioca starch, then add to the slow cooker.
- Once cooked, gently mix and serve over vegetables, potatoes, or noodles.
