Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. In a medium skillet, heat 1 tablespoon of cooking oil over medium heat. Once shimmering, add well-shaken coconut milk and chili. Simmer for 3-4 minutes.
  2. Season the grouper fillets with salt and pepper on both sides.
  3. Add seasoned grouper to the skillet. Cook for 3-4 minutes until golden and opaque. Flip and cook for an additional 2-3 minutes.
  4. Gently fold grouper into the coconut sauce and cook for an extra minute to combine flavors.
  5. Remove from heat, plate the grouper, and spoon the coconut sauce over the top. Let rest for a minute before serving.
