Step-by-Step Instructions for Club Sandwich
  1. Toast four slices of bread in a toaster or skillet for 2–3 minutes until golden brown.
  2. Spread softened butter on one side of each bread slice and mayonnaise on the unbuttered side of the first slice.
  3. Layer romaine lettuce, seasoned tomato slices, and crispy bacon on the mayo-covered slice.
