Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Pinch off the hard pieces from the bottoms of the dried black mission figs and wrap them with thinly sliced beets.

  3. Skewer each heart in the center for stability and presentation.
  4. Brush each heart with maple syrup to infuse sweetness and let sit for a few minutes.
  5. Preheat the air fryer to 350°F (175°C) and cook the hearts for about 4-6 minutes.
