Step-by-Step Instructions for Vampire’s Fig & Thyme Punch
- Prepare Thyme Syrup: In a small saucepan over medium heat, combine 1/2 cup sugar, 1/2 cup water, and 4 sprigs of thyme. Stir gently until the sugar fully dissolves, which should take about 5 minutes. Once done, remove from heat and cool completely. Strain to remove thyme.
- Juice Lemon: Squeeze juice from one fresh lemon until you gather about 1 ounce, straining out any seeds.
- Mix Ingredients: In a cocktail shaker, add 2 tablespoons of fig jam, 2 ounces of gin, 1 ounce of strained lemon juice, and 1 ounce of thyme syrup. Fill with ice and shake for about 15 seconds.
- Strain & Serve: Fill glasses with ice. Strain the mixture into each glass, leaving room for sparkling water.
