- Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C). Gather your ingredients and equipment.
- Steam the spinach over medium heat until wilted, about 1 minute. Chop finely and squeeze excess moisture if using frozen.
- Boil salted water and cook pasta shells for approximately 10 minutes until al dente. Drain and toss with olive oil.
- In a large bowl, combine spinach, ricotta, pecorino, garlic, oregano, lemon zest, red pepper flakes, salt, and pepper. Mix thoroughly.
- Spread marinara sauce on the bottom of a baking dish. Stuff each shell with filling and place in the dish seam side up.
- Cover with foil and bake for about 20 minutes until the sauce is bubbly and cheese is lightly browned.
- Remove foil and let cool for a few minutes. Serve with additional marinara on top.
