  • 1 tin (397g) sweetened condensed milk unsweetened condensed milk with added sugar can be used for a less sweet truffle
  • 400 g white chocolate for coating; milk or dark chocolate can be used instead

Method
 

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Line a large tray with baking paper or clingfilm.
  2. Combine desiccated coconut and sweetened condensed milk in a large mixing bowl.
  3. Roll the mixture into bite-sized balls, aiming for 28-30 truffles.
  4. Place the tray in the freezer for 30 minutes to firm up the truffles.
  5. Melt white chocolate in a medium bowl in the microwave in short bursts.
  6. Dip each chilled truffle into the melted white chocolate.
  7. Sprinkle additional desiccated coconut on top while the chocolate is still wet.
  8. Refrigerate the tray for 1 hour to let the chocolate set completely.
