  • 1 tablespoon Chia seeds or other seeds as a substitute.
  • 1 teaspoon Cinnamon optional for added flavor.
  • 1 scoop Optional protein powder unflavored or vanilla.
  • 1 cup Ice optional, for thicker consistency.

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Start by washing and drying your fresh lemon. Use a microplane or zester to remove the zest from the entire lemon, then juice one half and set both aside.
  2. In a high-speed blender, add almond milk, followed by blueberries, avocado, Greek yogurt, lemon zest, lemon juice, chia seeds, and cinnamon.
  3. Blend on high for 30-60 seconds until smooth and creamy. Stop to scrape down sides if necessary.
  4. Taste and adjust by adding more lemon juice for acidity or ice for thickness. Blend again if needed.
  5. Pour the smoothie into a glass or jar. Enjoy immediately or store in the fridge for 1-2 days.
