  1. Allow pizza dough to come to room temperature and rest for 15 minutes in a greased bowl.
  2. Slice the pizza dough into 12 equal pieces and gently roll them into balls.
  3. Pour 1 teaspoon of olive oil into each muffin cup and spread evenly.
  4. Place each dough ball into the oiled muffin cups, cover, and let rest while preheating the oven.
