Step‑by‑Step Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and lightly grease a loaf pan or line it with parchment paper.
  2. Sauté the onions and minced garlic in a skillet over medium heat with olive oil until translucent, about 5 minutes.
  3. In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground beef, breadcrumbs, eggs, milk, Worcestershire sauce, Dijon mustard, ketchup, salt, black pepper, and smoked paprika, along with the cooled onion and garlic mixture.
  4. Transfer the mixture into the prepared loaf pan, shaping it into a tight loaf.
  5. In a separate bowl, whisk together ketchup, brown sugar, Dijon mustard, Worcestershire sauce, and apple cider vinegar until smooth.
  6. Spread the glaze over the top of the meatloaf and bake uncovered for 45 minutes, brushing more glaze halfway through.
  7. Check that the meatloaf has reached an internal temperature of 160°F (71°C) after a total baking time of 60 minutes.
  8. Let the meatloaf rest for about 10 minutes before slicing to allow juices to redistribute.
