Ingredients

For the Truffle Mixture
  • 36 cookies Vanilla Oreos Use gluten-free Oreos for a gluten-free version.
  • 8 oz Cream Cheese Use dairy-free cream cheese for a dairy-free option.
For the Coating
  • 12 oz Dairy-free White Chocolate Ensure it's dairy-free for lactose intolerance.
For Decoration
  • 1 cup Mini Chocolate Chips Used for eyes.
  • 1 Colored Candy or Icing For scarves and additional decorations.

Equipment

  • Food Processor
  • Mixing Bowl
  • Baking Sheet
  • Parchment Paper
  • Microwave or double boiler

Method

Step‑by‑Step Instructions
  1. Begin by crushing the vanilla Oreos into fine crumbs using a food processor, which should take about 1-2 minutes.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine the Oreo crumbs with softened cream cheese, and blend until the mixture is fully combined and smooth.
  3. Take small portions of the mixture and roll them into balls, making larger ones about the size of a golf ball for the body and smaller ones for the heads.
  4. Aim for roughly 12 larger and 12 smaller truffles to create your Mini Snowman Truffles.
  5. Transfer the baking sheet with the truffles to the refrigerator and chill for approximately 20 minutes.
  6. Melt the dairy-free white chocolate using a microwave or a double boiler.
  7. Dip each chilled truffle into the chocolate, coating it completely.
  8. While the white chocolate coating is still wet, stack a smaller truffle on top of each larger one to form the snowman shape.
  9. Use mini chocolate chips to create the eyes and add colored candy or icing for scarves and additional decorations.
