Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Cook the Meat: Heat a skillet over medium heat and add lean ground turkey or chicken. Sauté for 5-7 minutes until browned. Add garlic powder and oregano in the last minute.
  2. Assemble the Filling: In a mixing bowl, combine the cooled meat, reduced-fat mozzarella cheese, turkey pepperoni slices, and marinara sauce. Mix well.
  3. Fill the Wraps: Lay high-protein tortillas flat and spoon filling into the center. Fold the sides and roll tightly from the bottom up.
  4. Seal and Crisp: Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C) or air fryer to 375°F (190°C). Brush outside of wraps with olive oil or egg wash.
  5. Cook: Place pizza rolls in air fryer or on a baking sheet. Cook for 8-10 minutes in air fryer or 12-15 minutes in oven, until golden-brown.
  6. Serve: Let the rolls cool for a couple of minutes before serving. Pair with dipping sauces like marinara or herb-infused yogurt dip.
